Help honor caregivers in long-term care!
Responsibilities
- Attends monthly planning meetings (October-January), pre-event run-throughs, and post-event review
- Available to assist last-minute tasks and set up week of the event
- Purchases ticket to the event if not volunteering day-of
- Contributes to one or more subcommittees. Tasks may include:
- Coordinate table arrangements
- Assist set up and breakdown
- Assist packaging and delivery of any materials/awards/signage
- Assist development and management of run of show/volunteers/presentations
- Assist developing sponsor and registration packets/forms/program
- Draft press releases
- Create event graphics for social media
- Promote to the public virtually and/or through physical advertising
- Promotes and gathers nominations
- Sources judging panel from the community
- Organizes and redacts all nominee submissions for judging
- Selects key stories for the event
- Coordinates recipient list
- Coordinates delivery of prizes and any day-of nominee needs
- Develop list of key invitees
- Assist development of registration packages
- Promote event virtually or through physical advertising
- Maintain package purchase list
- Generate report of attendees/registration income post-event
- Assist developing sponsorship levels and benefits
- Reach out and follow up with potential sponsors
- Manage sponsor information (ads, logos, attendees, recognition)
- Coordinate delivery of sponsor benefits (ex special party packs, etc.)
- Generate report of sponsorship income
