VOYCE is guided by a dedicated board of directors drawn from healthcare, law, academia, and business across the St. Louis region.
Kevin Rhoades — Chair. Kevin Rhoades is a retired business executive who joined the VOYCE board in March 2023 and has served as board chair since January 2026. His background spans administration and management, entrepreneurship, program design and evaluation, strategic planning, and technology.
Meegan Bell — Vice Chair. Meegan Bell is an assistant professor at Saint Louis University and an executive project management consultant. She joined the VOYCE board in March 2025 and serves as vice chair.
Pat Kung — Treasurer. Pat Kung is a staff scientist at Washington University School of Medicine who joined the VOYCE board in January 2024. He serves as board treasurer.
Jan Shelly — Secretary. Jan Shelly is a retired lawyer who joined the VOYCE board in July 2023. She serves as board secretary, bringing experience in education and outreach, legal research and writing, and advocacy for quality long-term care.
Steve Bollin — Finance Committee. Steve Bollin is a retired executive from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services and Mercy Health who joined the VOYCE board in April 2026. He serves on the finance committee.
Valerie Johnson — Board Member. Valerie Johnson is a retired State of Missouri human resources professional with a background in legal assistance. She joined the VOYCE board in March 2025.
Kaitlyn Lovingfoss — Board Member. Kaitlyn Lovingfoss is an attorney who joined the VOYCE board in January 2025 after serving as a Washington University board fellow during law school.
Kari Willett — Board Member. Kari Willett works in healthcare strategy and operations at Galderma and joined the VOYCE board in July 2023. Her background includes healthcare, education and outreach, and event management.
Stephanie Harris — Board Member. Stephanie Harris is a human relations director at Jewish Family Services and a SHRM-certified professional. She joined the VOYCE board in July 2025.
Smitha Ramgopal — Board Member. Smitha Ramgopal joined the VOYCE board in July 2026. She works at RGA.
