Starting November 1, 2024, VOYCE will be the official provider of Long-Term Care Ombudsman Services for the Aging Matters Area Agency on Aging region. This significant development extends our reach and impact, ensuring comprehensive coverage for the entire eastern side of Missouri. What Do Ombudsmen Do?
Long-Term Care Ombudsmen advocate to protect the health, safety, welfare, and rights of residents in long-term care settings, including nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Ombudsmen listen to residents’ concerns, provide information about residents’ rights, work to resolve complaints, and advocate for systemic improvements in care. At VOYCE, our ombudsmen ensure residents have a strong voice in their care and are treated with the dignity they deserve.
