  • Paying for Long-Term Care

As long-term care costs rapidly increase, financing long-term care can be a complex process. It’s important to understand what you may encounter to ensure your loved ones receive the best level of care.

Care at Home or Long-Term Care Community?

Care at Home means that your loved ones will receive a wide array of services at home, without leaving home or having to reside in a long-term care community. Services may include some medical care. Others might include non-medical supportive services or physical changes to the home to accommodate for aging or disability challenges. Here is more information about the services provided under the Care at Home program.

Although Medicaid pays for Care at Home, not everybody is eligible for Care at Home. Unfortunately, it’s not even guaranteed for all individuals who are eligible to receive assistance. Find here the eligibility criteria.
