Shawn Brice is the Director of the Money Follows the Person program for the state of Missouri. He has over 25 of experience working in state government, the last eight years of which he has been working with the MFP program. As Director of Missouri's MFP program, Shawn is responsible for oversight, coordination, and collaboration with all stakeholders involved in making the program a success for long-term care residents. His years of public service include a passion for advocacy and a focus on improving the lives of others.
Chien Hung, MSW, MA-G, RYT, serves as the program director of the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program. Upon graduating from Washington University with his MSW, Chien started working with Community Alternatives as an AIDS Waiver Case Manager. He then served as a clinical social worker at Doorways Interfaith Residence from 2007 to 2016, working with residents living with critical medical conditions, mental disorders, substance use disorders, and homelessness. Chien has extensive experience in psychotherapy, case management, community outreach, housing, and long-term care. Under his direction, the Ombudsman team strives to help improve the quality of care in LTC communities across the greater St. Louis and northeast Missouri areas. Chien is also a Registered Yoga Teacher at various St. Louis studios.
