Paul Gantner is an owner of the estate planning and elder law firm Amen, Gantner and Capriano. Along with his law degree, Paul holds an MBA, is Veterans Affairs accredited, holds an active insurance license, and is Series 65 licensed as an investment adviser. Paul frequently speaks for the Missouri bar and other organizations. He is rated 10 out of 10 on AVVO which considers experience and both peer and client reviews. Paul’s mission is to help families secure their legacies by embracing clients as members of his law firm family through long-term, personal advisory relationships.
Mr. Gantner has previously worked as a corporate law clerk for Shelter Insurance Companies in Columbia, Missouri. Mr. Gantner also taught a personal finance class to undergraduate students at the University of Missouri.
He co-authored an article – “Practical Ethics in Elder Law”, which was published in the Spring 2010 St. Louis Bar Journal and also contributed to a chapter in Missouri Bar CLE Deskbook - Elder Law - “Planning and Paying for Long-Term Care”, which was re-published 2010.
Mr. Gantner is a member of the Young/New Lawyers Section Steering Committee of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and a member of the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys. He is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Illinois and is an accredited attorney for the preparation, presentation, and prosecution of claims for veterans’ benefits before the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). He also actively volunteers with the Alzheimer’s Association of St. Louis.
Mr. Gantner obtained his undergraduate B.S.B.A. degree in Management and B.A. degree in Criminal Justice from Saint Louis University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He went to law school at the University of Missouri, in Columbia, and obtained his Juris Doctorate in 2008. Mr. Gantner also obtained his Master of Business Administration from the University of Missouri in 2008.
