By 2030, more than 1/5 of the U.S. population will be 65. Nursing homes are experiencing a shortage of staff, with the number of employees falling from 1.5 million to 1.3 million between February 2020 and December 2022. This, combined with the increase in the number of people with Alzheimer’s disease and the growing cost of elder care, has led to more and more older adults choosing to age in place. Join New Horizons PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) to explore aging-in-place options, how they compare, and the financial components of alternate aging-in-place programs.
