Join us for VOYCE’s Long-Term Care Conference event on Wednesday, June 15 at Maryland Heights Community Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
This year’s conference theme is Care: Who We Are. What We Do. Where We Go from Here. We’ll explore best practices and new approaches to long-term care in a moment where the entire sector has been turned upside down.
COVID-19 presented unique challenges for long-term care professionals, resulting in the necessary evaluation of approaches, methods, and perspectives. As we seek to continue to deliver the best quality care for long-term care residents, we have new opportunities and insights to reflect and learn from.
The program will explore and highlight insights and learned experiences from internationally renowned geriatricians, educators, and leaders in the long-term care community. Join us as we reflect on the journey we have made together as a community and gain inspiration for the steps that we are yet to take.
Our Keynote Speech will be presented by Dr. John Morley, Professor Emeritus of Medicine, Saint Louis University.
Other presentation topics include residents’ rights, addressing loneliness and isolation for long-term care residents, and the interplay between ageism as a social determinant of health and end-of-life care. Read more about the speakers and topics by clicking the button below.
VOYCE will be providing scholarships to attend the Conference. This resource assistance will allow organizations to send a representative to participate in the event who might not attend due to financial constraints. Scholarship recipients will have the opportunity to meet and engage with 120 fellow long-term care professionals in addition to event sponsors and vendors.
